Today
Here is the newest picture....they started on the soffits (sp?).....it's making it look more like a house. Today was the first day we couldn't get in; it was all locked up and we don't have a key. Definitely going to have to get one because we know the painters were there again today and I want to see!!!!!

New Pictures
An update on the progress - they have started to paint, but there is only one coat....he says the shades are off by about 5-6 times, so I assume everything will be darker/more intense after the other coats.......I am really liking the great room and master bedroom. I know the red will look better after further coats (I learned that when we painted the wall burgundy in our current house)...red takes several coats to not look pink. I am not sure about the foyer, kitchen, hearth room...it's supposed to be a very boring cream, but right now it has an almost green tone to it. We'll see!! The basement and upstairs have only had the ceilings painted so far....they will be painting more on Tuesday and I'll post more pictures.

Granite Countertops
We have chosen the granite for the kitchen countertops.......it is called Santa Cecilia. This is a sample picture and I am sure our slab will be somewhat different, but it is at least a good idea of what it will look like.
BackSplash
I think I am going to have kitchen backsplash close to this.......the tile is the same as the tile in the Master Bath and Bar, only smaller.
